The exclusive items celebrating the 10th anniversary of the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store's opening focus on "black," the store's signature color.──Starting October 3rd (Friday), the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store will feature a lineup of items that embody "DECADE STANDARD – items to be loved as standards for the next 10 years." This collection includes iconic pieces from brands with whom we've built long-standing relationships, as well as reissues of past popular models.

Exclusive Items Based on "Black"

The BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store, which opened in October 2004, was the third BARNEYS NEW YORK store in Japan, following the Shinjuku and Yokohama locations. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of its opening in Ginza, a district rich in history and tradition, and alongside the Kōkō Building, a landmark of the area, a variety of special events will be held starting October 3rd (Friday).

Particularly noteworthy are the exclusive items from various domestic and international brands, available first at the Ginza store. In addition to the brands featured here, items from Maison Martin Margiela, Neil Barrett, Carven, Balenciaga, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and others, all centered around "black," will be available in a wide variety. Come find your favorite shade of "black."

V.A. "Free Soul Decade Standard" Limited Release

As part of its 10th anniversary theme, "DECADE STANDARD – items to be loved as standards for the next 10 years," BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store will release V.A. "Free Soul Decade Standard." This release commemorates the 20th anniversary of the "Free Soul" compilation series, curated and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA), and the 10th anniversary of the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store's opening. It is the third installment in the "Free Soul" series to be exclusively released by Tower Records.

Toru Hashimoto has selected tracks for "DECADE STANDARD," focusing on new classics born in the past decade, groovy and mellow evergreen gems that are sure to shine eternally, and a culmination of the harmonious relationship between jazz, soul, and club music that deserves to be remembered forever.

Starting October 3rd (Friday), a version with a BARNEYS NEW YORK exclusive jacket will be available at the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza store.
