"Kyogen" is headed by Shoryu Hatoba, a master stencil artist who specializes in hand-painting family crests onto kimonos. In addition to designing crests for corporations and individuals, the company also produces kimonos, creating vibrant and highly designed garments for men.

Kyogen kimonos, crafted with Hatoba's meticulous attention to detail, are now available at UNITED ARROWS. These kimonos, while rooted in the tradition of Japanese attire, are finished with a delicate craftsmanship and exquisite tailoring that lends them an elegant aesthetic.

The kimonos and haori (kimono jackets) are made from premium silk fabrics carefully selected by "Kyogen." Customers can choose from three types of fabric and six color swatches to suit their preferences. The角帯 (kaku obi, formal sash), 襦袢 (juban, undergarment), and 羽織紐 (haori himo, haori cord) also showcase Hatoba's distinctive design sensibility.





A standout feature is the graphic design by artist Shun Kawakami, used on the裏地 (uraji, lining) of the haori. Rendered using a special dyeing technique, the monochrome "pine" motif, with its delicate lines and subtle strength, captivates the viewer.

Kawakami, who heads artless Inc., works across genres including graphics, film, and branding. He is also an accomplished artist, participating in numerous festivals and exhibitions both domestically and internationally, with a notable global presence.
