Tomoki Yuzen has long been active in the fashion scene both domestically and internationally, building a unique style. His connection with UNITED ARROWS runs deep, having been involved in past catalog productions for the brand.
This event will feature approximately 150 items, primarily outerwear, that Yuzen has actually owned and will be available for purchase. Each piece embodies his distinctive aesthetic and personal style, and having been meticulously cared for, their condition is impeccable.
When asked about the reason for parting with his wardrobe, Yuzen commented: "I loved all these pieces and bought them, but after more than 40 years, I've bought too many clothes and am reaching the physical limits of storage. I wanted to pass them on to people who understand the value of things, who share my values."
With the proliferation of fast fashion, the practice of wearing clothes for a long time or inheriting them has become less common than it once was. It can be said that the relationship between people and clothing has changed significantly over the more than 40 years Yuzen has been in the fashion world.
