Parisian Fashion Trade Show Lands in Japan

Presenting "MAN TOKYO 2015 Spring-Summer"

Launched in Paris in 2012, the fashion trade show "MAN" has recently garnered attention for its unique and highly curated selection, which includes Japanese brands. From Tuesday, July 29th to Friday, August 1st, it will make its Japanese debut in Tokyo's Minato Ward at Meiji Kinenkan, under the title "MAN TOKYO 2015 Spring-Summer."

ÉDIFICE Tokyo Hosts Special Event

The Paris-based trade show "MAN" was founded in 2012 by Antoine Floch, who was also involved in the launch and production of the Parisian trade shows "Capsule" and "Rendez Vous," along with his partners Romain Bernardie-James and Olivier Migda.

With a focus on the high quality and originality of participating brands, MAN meticulously selects and showcases only a few dozen brands from around the world each season. Currently, they hold "MAN" for menswear and "WOMAN" for womenswear four times a year in Paris and New York.

Now, in 2014, "MAN TOKYO" will be held in Japan as the second country after New York, starting with the 2015 S/S season. The organizers plan to hold "MAN TOKYO" twice a year, aiming for it to function as an infrastructure connecting Europe, America, and Asia, bringing together carefully selected global brands and top Asian buyers.

To commemorate MAN's first landing in Japan, an archival exhibition titled "MAN pop up stand in ÉDIFICE" will be held at ÉDIFICE Tokyo. The venue will feature a curated selection of items and visuals produced by MAN to date.

During this period, a limited edition collaboration T-shirt, produced in 100 units, will also be available for purchase.

A highlight for purchasers is a limited-edition special box, offered via lottery, containing a set of commemorative items from Parisian brands like "COMMUNE DE PARIS." This premium collection, including accessories such as caps and tote bags, can only be obtained at ÉDIFICE Tokyo during the event.
