M.I.U.: A Personal Approach
Last autumn, the "soe flagship store" in Nakameguro, Tokyo, reopened in a new form as "M.I.U." At M.I.U., people, objects, and concepts are explored in depth, with special items and experimental projects underway.
For this "M.I.U. OFFICIAL TRIP to OPENING CEREMONY," the interior design is handled by "FreshService," a design collective led by creative director Minami Takayuki, with input from Soichiro Ito, the designer of soe, and Hiromichi Ochiai, the designer of FACETASM. The project visuals are by illustrator Noritake.
The original item "Alley," created for this event, features illustrations by Noritake that visualize the connections between objects and concepts stemming from Soichiro Ito's personal sensibilities. The motif is three men plotting something in a back alley.

"Alley Tote" ¥2,700
The limited-time event will showcase items strongly associated with M.I.U., including the "Alley" T-shirts and tote bags, alongside popular brands at Opening Ceremony such as "soe," Hiromichi Ochiai's personal project "F," and "HELLOS EXTRAFINE" by Soichiro Ito and Takayuki Minami, which is exclusively handled by M.I.U.
