Proposing a Relaxed Lifestyle Rooted in San Francisco

The select shop, "BANANA REPUBLIC POP-UP SHOP Curated by Takayuki Minami," opening for a limited time during Golden Week, is the first installment of a pop-up shop project planned to open throughout Tokyo year-round.

The curator is Takayuki Minami, who has directed numerous select shops. He proposes the spirit of "San Francisco," the birthplace of Banana Republic, and a comfortable West Coast lifestyle.

The pop-up shop is designed using shipping containers, wood, canvas, and a transparent roof. The open interior evokes a sophisticated comfort, reflecting the unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere of San Francisco.

"At this limited-time pop-up shop, you can purchase Banana Republic items I've selected, as well as food, fragrances, and small accessories with San Francisco ties that contribute to a high-quality lifestyle," says curator Minami.
