SAGE DE CRÊT Pop-Up Store Opens

JACKET REQUIRED, which proposes sophisticated dress and casual wear for adult men with the theme "A dress code for grown men to enjoy," has opened pop-up stores at both its Omotesando and Osaka locations starting Friday, March 14th.SAGE DE CRÊT

Director Visits Omotesando Store on March 14th and 15th

SAGE DE CRÊT is popular for its daily wear that offers a sense of high fashion and reality, born from a commitment to "flavorful craftsmanship" and "uncompromising dedication."

The pop-up store will feature not only the SAGE DE CRÊT Spring/Summer 2014 collection, carefully selected by director Hitoshi Chida, but also limited-edition products available for order only during the event.

Kurabo, inspired by the chino pants worn by MacArthur, developed a chino fabric that also carried the dreams of post-war reconstruction.—This was "West Point No. 10000," hailed as the finest quality from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s.

Woven slowly, firmly, and flexibly on a shuttle loom using carefully selected American cotton, this fabric met US military specifications and was supplied to West Point, MacArthur's alma mater. However, caught in the whirlwind of rapid economic growth, its history came to an end in just about ten years.

As a highlight, a small quantity of "Weapon," the legendary chino fabric associated with MacArthur, has been revived using the same manufacturing methods as in its heyday. Limited-edition, made-to-order West Point tapered pants and West Point shorts with serial numbers will be available.

On Friday, March 14th, and Saturday, March 15th, director Hitoshi Chida will be present at the Omotesando store, and he is scheduled to visit the Osaka store on Friday, March 21st (holiday).

During the event, the first 50 customers to purchase SAGE DE CRÊT products will receive a bandana made from upcycled deadstock fabric (limited quantity).
