New Line from Popular Denim Brand KURO
BY KURO Debut Collection
From KURO, a brand named after the Japanese word for “black,” comes a new line, “BY KURO.” While maintaining KURO’s core philosophy, BY KURO proposes “relaxed adult casual” wear each season with a distinct concept.

Respecting Master Craftsmanship and Historical Context
The concept for the “BY KURO” debut collection is “INDIGO BLUE—Modern casual wear using traditional indigo dyeing techniques.”
The collection focuses on Japanese virtues such as understated elegance, disciplined beauty, and the spirit of wabi-sabi found in the traditional techniques passed down by artisans. A key feature is the in-house development of spinning, dyeing, sewing, and finishing processes.
Exclusive Dresses and Knits Planned for ROSE BUD
The craftsmanship and historical context that form the foundation of this collection share a common philosophy with “KURO”: drawing inspiration from the color “black”—evoking solitude, mystery, dignity, and strength—and embodying it through Japanese craftsmanship. KURO’s denim, which received high praise from international buyers at Pitti Immagine Uomo, pairs exceptionally well with this new line.
Furthermore, “BY KURO” is available in sizes from XS, making it suitable for women. The select shop “ROSE BUD” will also be offering exclusive dresses and knitwear.
