Onitsuka Tiger Announces Sixth Collaboration Project in Celebration of its 70th Anniversary

Onitsuka Tiger collaborates with sulvam designer Teppei Fujita. Shoes and apparel with an impressive black color scheme will be released. The release date is Monday, November 18, 2019.

Sporty Items Dressed in Black
This year marks the 70th anniversary of Onitsuka Tiger, Japan's first fashion brand. In July, the brand announced a special collaboration with seven highly acclaimed designers, both domestically and internationally, to celebrate its anniversary year.
The sixth installment features Teppei Fujita, the designer of sulvam.
The collection includes shoes and apparel that reflect Fujita's refined sensibility.
The shoes are an adaptation of the "TAI-CHI-REB™," inspired by Tai Chi shoes.
Dressed in black, they feature light gray stitching on the plain toe. This monochrome design expresses an original, unadulterated essence.
The apparel line consists of two items: a loose-fit track top and track pants with a contemporary silhouette. Like the shoes, they are primarily black with random white stitching.
White and black tape, printed with the Onitsuka Tiger and sulvam logos, adds a stylish and sporty finish.
Regarding this collaboration, Fujita commented, "Fashion is about freedom. By breaking existing images in a good way, we could maximize the appeal of both brands.
