Michael Kors and the WFP's Initiatives
The "WATCH HUNGER STOP" campaign is one of Michael Kors's active philanthropic endeavors, aimed at assisting in the resolution of global hunger issues. In March of the same year (May in Japan), four types of charity watches, dubbed the "100 Series," were released..
On "World Food Day," October 16th (Wed.), special T-shirts were distributed at Michael Kors stores in five global cities to raise awareness for this day, established to contemplate food issues. Each store also featured a photo booth where visitors could capture themselves wearing the distributed T-shirts. These photos were then shared via social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (using #watchhungerstop). Furthermore, the photos were displayed on digital billboards in New York's Times Square, sharing scenes from around the world in the heart of the city.
Additionally, throughout October, designated as World Food Day Month, Michael Kors's global flagship stores will be collecting donations for the WFP. These efforts aim to support the healthy physical and mental development of future generations, contribute to building a secure and stable world, and foster economic growth.
