Limited Edition "THE 501® BOOK" to be Released Worldwide

The "THE 140 YEARS OF LEVI’S®" exhibition will feature six rare archival pieces from Levi's® headquarters in San Francisco, making their debut in Japan. These include a Trucker Jacket adorned with Swarovski crystals by Yves Saint Laurent, which was part of a celebrity "Decorated Denim" auction for AIDS charity in 1986. The collection showcases precious items that narrate the history and culture of Levi's®.

Furthermore, the exhibition will display successive models of the 501® from the 1890s to the present day. This is an intriguing endeavor, allowing visitors to witness the evolution of the 501®, the quintessential symbol of jeans.





The venue will also offer "THE 501® BOOK," a hardcover photo book with a worldwide limited edition of 501 copies, featuring 501 portraits of pioneers from around the globe wearing the 501®. With only 50 copies available in Japan, this is a rare opportunity to acquire this special item. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
