KURO's First Making-Of Movie Also Released
KURO began as a "Made in Japan" denim brand, celebrated for its stylish designs and meticulous attention to detail. It garnered attention through appearances at Pitti Uomo and distribution in international select shops. Since the Spring/Summer collection last year, apparel has been added to the lineup, and the Autumn/Winter collection introduced wool knit, chino, and leather series. The established denim range is now complemented by these three materials, offering a more comprehensive collection.
KURO's long-awaited directly managed store, "KURO FLAG SHOP," is the only place to see KURO's full lineup. To commemorate the opening, the first release of chambray shirts, followed by denim pants as the second release, and denim shorts as the third, are being sequentially launched.
The first release, a chambray shirt, is crafted from 5oz plain weave fabric woven on a shuttle loom by Ryoyu Shoji. It features a single-stitched pocket with black cat's-eye buttons on the front, side seams with rolled seams, and selvedge detailing on the gusset. Selvedge is also used on the back, with a light wash applied to achieve a subtle worn-in look. The shuttle loom weaving imparts a superior texture, allowing for an enjoyable wear experience.
