The FREEMANS Brand: Captivating American Gentlemen

In 2004, FREEMANS opened as a restaurant in a back alley of New York's Bowery district. The restaurant was designed to evoke the lifestyle and era of American suburban life in the 1950s, a time of hunting and farming. The space is adorned with numerous taxidermied animals, a signature element of FREEMANS. It embodies the founder TAAVO's vision: "I wanted to create a place in the bustling metropolis of New York where friends could gather, a place that would become their haunt and a place they could always return to."

The following year, the menswear store "FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB" opened, pursuing a genuine American trad style that is both classical and reflective of contemporary needs, focusing on American casual wear and suits.

The suits are crafted by Martin Greenfield, a tailor with over 100 years of history. With a handmade factory in Brooklyn, New York, they produce bench-made traditional suits, with virtually all production processes done by hand within 10 miles of the store. A key characteristic is their unwavering commitment to "MADE IN USA."

The barber, reminiscent of traditional American barbershops, is staffed by highly skilled barbers, and interestingly, does not require appointments. You can walk in whenever you need. After a delicate razor shave or haircut, enjoy a coffee or whiskey. This is the classic American barbershop, and the style of FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB.

To commemorate the opening of "FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB TOKYO," new shirts and denim have been created, incorporating Japanese craftsmanship in dyeing and sewing.
