An event called "The Drop TYO @ Barneys" will be held at the Barneys New York Roppongi store. This event, featuring special limited-edition items, will showcase over 40 brands and more than 250 products. It runs from Saturday, September 15, 2018, to Monday, September 17, 2018 (public holiday).

In New York, the brand's home, releasing limited-edition items in-store during a season is called a "DROP." On the day a popular brand makes a "DROP," long queues form of people eager to get their hands on the items.

Last October, following the Madison Avenue flagship, an event titled "The Drop LA @ Barneys" was held at the Beverly Hills flagship. This two-day event featured over 30 capsule collections and more than 90 brands.

The event also included talks with designers and influencers, sets by popular DJs, and performances by hip-hop artists, becoming a talking point as an event that encapsulated "the current state of American fashion."

Now, this much-talked-about event arrives in Japan as "The Drop TYO @ Barneys." It will be held for three days only at the Barneys New York Roppongi store.

Over 40 brands, including "Balenciaga," "Valentino," "Givenchy," "Lanvin," "Maison Margiela," "Saint Laurent," and "Stella McCartney," will be featured, with more than 250 items available.

Talk shows will also be held featuring Masanori Morikawa, designer of "Christian Dada," and Teppei Fujita, designer of "Sulvam." Additionally, a talk show will feature Masayuki Ino, designer of "Doublet," Kentaro Okusawa, editor-in-chief of "Swag Hommes," and photographer Kazutaka Matsuoka. Attendees can enjoy passionate discussions from fashion professionals.

There will also be events by the Korean skincare brand "Eco Your Skin" and the New York-based luxury nail brand "Deborah Lippmann." "The Drop TYO @ Barneys," covering everything from fashion to beauty, is the perfect event for those who enjoy dressing up. It promises to be three intense days to experience the current state of fashion.
