Clothing for the man who believes he might just be a HERO
—What was the theme/concept for the 2013 Spring/Summer collection?
It was "HERO."
—Could you tell us more about the theme/concept?
Each season, we imagine the occupation of 'a man living by the sea' and develop our designs. For this season, the theme is "HERO." However, this isn't about a superhero from an anime. We're envisioning men who work while wearing costumes of heroes or characters. Because they spend so much time in hero costumes, in their private lives, they might believe they can actually become a HERO... This is a theme about a highly unusual man, close to having a split personality, who patrols the streets at night like a vigilante and trains his body, all while believing he could be a HERO.
—What are the key looks (outfits)?
This season, please pay attention to our classic pile jacquardパーカー, the shawl collar jacket made from Imabari towel fabric, and the satin shirt with a hero-pattern print. We also have matching shorts for all three fabrics. For styling, we recommend patterned sets for both top and bottom, but even incorporating just one piece can create a relaxed atmosphere.
—What are the key items?
The shawl collar jacket made from Imabari towel fabric, the shorts, and the towels. We developed original patterns and produced them in Imabari. This collection is perfect for taking to the beach.
—What are the key colors?
Vibrant blue pile jacquardパーカー, yellow shorts colored with airbrush, and a mustard-colored T-shirt with an original pattern jacquard, among others.
—Are there any designers or brands you are paying attention to?
Hedi Slimane's Saint Laurent Paris.
—Do you have a message for your fans?
Our fundamental approach to making clothes is to make them enjoyable for our customers. For the 2013 Spring/Summer season, we have prepared unique items that reflect our brand's identity. Please come and see them at our stores or on our official online store.
