MARNI Hosts Christmas Pop-Up Events at Shinjuku Isetan and Ginza Mitsukoshi
MARNI will hold POP-UP events at two locations, Shinjuku Isetan and Ginza Mitsukoshi, from Wednesday, December 7th to Tuesday, December 13th. As part of the "MARNI HAPPY BIRDS Project," a charity initiative for children, a limited collection of objects hand-painted on materials such as wood and metal will be sold at these events.

Limited Collection Inspired by the Art World
The five works, "MARNI HAPPY BIRDS," sold at this POP-UP event, are depicted with single lines and satirically represent influential female artists of the last century.
With unique crests, Carol Rama; a cormorant with a large beak, Frida Kahlo; a moorhen, Georgia O'Keeffe; a small bird looking up at the sky, Alice Neel; and Louise Bourgeois as a queen – these distinctive birds are artistic yet possess a charming, unpretentious air that blends seamlessly into any interior.
Proceeds from this project will be donated to the Vimala Association (www.associazionevimala.org), which supports refugee camps in India. The works are scheduled to be available in stores from late November and will be sold throughout the Christmas season.
