Designer Michael Tapia, who once took the fashion world by storm with his eponymous brand "MICHAEL TAPIA," launched in 2000. Now in its third season under the new brand name, "TAPIA LOS ANGELES" is generating buzz among discerning fashion enthusiasts.

A Collection Long-Awaited by Fans, Signature to Michael Tapia
Michael Tapia constantly researches methods and expressions that bring contemporary essence to classic American clothing, with the philosophy of "bringing past and future clothing into the present."
To ensure comfortable wear, he focuses on cutting techniques, blending patterns from military and sportswear with traditional tailoring to create a collection uniquely his own.
"TAPIA LOS ANGELES" expresses his latest vision for menswear, suitable for everything from daily work attire to slightly more formal occasions.
His products are crafted based on nearly 20 years of European experience, utilizing high-quality materials and techniques, further enhanced by the traditions and craftsmanship of Los Angeles and the East Coast.
The 2014 Spring/Summer Collection Highlights a Tailored Series
This season introduces a tailored series of suits crafted from tropical linen and high-twist summer wool. These masterpieces, created by blending his European experience with American tailoring techniques, embody Michael Tapia's dedication and confidence in their silhouette.
Additionally, the popular button-down and wide-spread collar shirts from the previous season are available in a range of materials, including poplin in navy and pale blue, achieved through garment dyeing, as well as stripes and chambray.
The collection also expands to include outerwear beyond tailoring, such as jackets inspired by fatigue jackets and duck canvas coveralls, along with comfortable cut-and-sew items and vintage-style sweatshirts with fleece lining, showcasing the breadth of the collection.

Born in Los Angeles, USA, in 1970. Began his career as a designer in New York in the 1990s. He then moved to Europe, where he launched his own brand "MICHEAL TAPIA" in 2000, focusing on tailoring techniques and silhouette. In 2012, he returned to his hometown of Los Angeles to start "TAPIA LOS ANGELES."
