The "EYEVAN 7285" Collection, Focused on Size Balance

In 1972, VAN Jacket, led by Mr. Kensuke Ishizu, and Yamamoto Kogaku (formerly Yamamoto Spectacle Lens Manufacturing), which primarily produced dust-proof eyewear, jointly established the original eyewear brand "EYEVAN." All planning, design, and manufacturing were done in Japan, and the brand actively exhibited at international trade shows, earning high acclaim. It was featured in The New York Times at the time, and was loved by Hollywood celebrities, attracting global attention.

"EYEVAN," which started with 27 types and 42 variations, gained overwhelming support from the younger generation at the time. Not only were the products highly refined, but the stylish brand books, playful novelties, and innovative promotions like TV commercials also garnered significant attention.





"EYEVAN 7285," launched in May this year, is based on the designs and manufacturing methods of the "EYEVAN CRAFT" series, where artisans of the time expressed what they truly wanted to create using the finest techniques, and was born from the disassembly and reconstruction of parts. It began with 11 types and 46 variations, and is now available at select eyewear stores and fashion boutiques both domestically and internationally.

For the 2nd Collection, a unique "EYEVAN" manufacturing method developed in the 1980s, where acetate material is partially layered on the bridge, temple, and temple parts, was used. The collection features the only full-rim plastic frame of the 2nd collection, models based on the "OF-15" manufactured in the 1980s, and unique models with shapes resembling pilot goggles fitted into metal frames.
