Merging Brand Individuality and Craftsmanship with Real Clothes for Men and Women

What was the theme/concept for the 2013 Autumn/Winter collection?

For Autumn/Winter 2013, we expressed "shadow" through the texture of knit stitches, the interplay of fabric fronts and backs, and the use of tone-on-tone colors with different materials, primarily using Italian cashmere. We propose real clothes for men and women that fuse WRAPINKNOT's individuality and craftsmanship.

What were the key points and aspects you wanted to highlight in this season's look shoot?

The luxurious feel of the knitwear, the "shadow" effect of the theme, and lighting that is chic yet warm.

What is the key look (coordination) this season?

We've created a clean look using WRAPINKNOT's brand colors of "grey and navy" for the coat and pants. The coordination also features tone-on-tone accents with the pale blue on the reverse side of the reversible coat and the royal blue of the cardigan and knit cap. The balance of coat length, pant length, and shoes is also a key point.

We Want You to Discover the Excellence of Japanese Manufacturing Through WRAPINKNOT

What are the key items and key colors?

The key item is knitwear that expresses the season's theme of "shadow." The key colors, in addition to the brand colors "grey and navy," are "beige and khaki" this season for a chic feel.

What "materials" did you focus on this season?

We are particular about all of them, but the Italian cashmere yarn, in particular, features exquisite dyeing colors unique to Italy. Royal blue, pearl white, and wood smoke are especially recommended.

What is the rewarding aspect of a designer's work?

In the context of planning and designing for a factory brand, the reward comes from expressing the thoughts of everyone involved in production through design and color, creating items that excite consumers and that they can cherish for a long time. When consumers recognize these products, it allows the people involved in production to strive further. Being a part of creating this positive cycle in fashion is what I find rewarding.

A message to your fans.

We hope you will discover the excellence of Japanese manufacturing through WRAPINKNOT.
