Introducing the Latest Collection from SPECTUSSHOECO.
SPECTUSSHOECO., the innovative shoe brand launched last year by AUTHENTIC SHOE & Co. designer Muneyuki Shindo, will release its 2013 Autumn/Winter collection in late July at its Harajuku flagship store, Gallery of Authentic, and other locations.

Featuring the "Boa Lacing System" for Optimal Fit
SPECTUS, founded by AUTHENTIC SHOE & Co. designer Muneyuki Shindo, is based on the concept of "design and comfort that are neither dress shoes nor sneakers." The brand builds upon traditional dress shoe designs, incorporating the lacing system from the American company Boa Technology, which also provides technology to brands like The North Face and Red Wing.
This advanced technology originated from Boa Technology's current CEO's experience on a snowboarding trip. Unable to tighten his boots while standing and failing to achieve a satisfactory fit, he sought a method for easier tightening and personalized comfort. The dial allows for instant fastening and release.
Additionally, wire laces distribute pressure according to foot movement, allowing for a preferred fit. The robust sole utilizes Vibram® ETON, a high-grip material from Vibram, paired with a flexible leather. This fusion of innovative functionality with the classic form of men's footwear results in a new design offering exceptional comfort.
This season's new models include "WING TIP BALMORAL," "WING TIP BLUCHER," and "STRAIGHT TIP." They are constructed using the McKay method and are available in three colors: black, gray, and beige.
