Herno Aoyama Store to Open This Autumn



HERNO, a brand that offers modern Italian style using luxurious materials such as cashmere, vicuña, and down, will open its second flagship store, following Milan, in Aoyama, Tokyo in early to mid-September.

An Italian Brand Expanding Its Global Following



HERNO is overwhelmingly popular for its down outerwear, which is light, thin, warm, and features a modern, beautiful silhouette. Founded in 1948 in Lesa, a small town on the shores of Italy's Lake Maggiore, Herno achieved success by manufacturing ideal raincoats with practicality and functionality, and also gained high acclaim for its double-faced products, which require advanced sewing techniques.

While inheriting the artisanal craftsmanship cultivated over more than 60 years of history, the brand has recently been actively adopting innovative high-tech materials, establishing its position as a luxury brand that fuses tradition and modernity.

The Milan store, which opened last year, evokes Herno's hometown of Lesa with its interior design, featuring natural oak on the floor and poplar wood with the engraved logo on the walls, creating a modern, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere.

The Herno Aoyama store, scheduled to open in early to mid-September, will also feature a concept similar to the Milan store, with display windows and exhibits. Stainless steel hooks represent modernity, while chic brown leather belts express tradition, embodying the brand's identity.

The Herno Aoyama store, spanning 60 tsubo (approximately 198 square meters), will offer women's and men's collections, as well as the kids' collection, which debuts with the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter season.
