Beautiful things are born from conviction."──TOYO KITCHEN & LIVING, which proposes interiors inspired by contemporary lifestyles under the theme of "Living in the Kitchen," has collaborated with Yoshio Okamoto, an Italian-trained modelist who leads MIGLIORE.

Mr. Okamoto's suits are unique. The "Six Front" jacket, which draws a "6" shape from collar to hem, offers a comfortable fit that envelops the body from behind. Every part is composed of curves, including the sinuous gorge line, the boat-shapedバルカ (barca) pocket on the chest, and the rain-drop sleeves with curved patterns that follow the natural shape of the arm, all finished with meticulous attention to detail.

The trousers are characterized by a design that utilizes stripe patterns and sewing techniques to ensure uniform alignment on the hip, with a design that comfortably supports the waist area and prevents wrinkles.

Using only carefully selected fabrics that maximize the suit's appeal, the line, pattern, and design are all in perfect harmony. These are suits that offer a superior wearing experience the moment you put them on.




Yoshio Okamoto
In the 1970s, he apprenticed under Camillo Ligas, an Italian sartorialist, mastering Italian pattern-making techniques. After returning to Japan, he spent many years as a pattern maker for designer brands and was involved in producing original suits for famous select shops. He has also energetically promoted the appeal of Italian suits, including handling the license brand for the long-established Florentine tailor, Principe. He currently operates Major Made Tailor on the 4th floor of Isetan Men's in Shinjuku.
