The pop-up store for "DEPARTMENT FIVE," a buzzed-about brand that debuted exclusively at ESTNATION last season to great acclaim, is now open at ESTNATION Roppongi Hills until Sunday, March 31st. Exclusive items, such as the shorts shown above left, are also available.

DEPARTMENT FIVE Pop-Up Store: First Appearance in Japan!

Established in Italy in 2007 as a full collection brand, DEPARTMENT FIVE first landed in Japan last autumn. Its pants, known for their beautifully tapered silhouette, quickly garnered a reputation.

The collection pursues meticulous detail and original materials in every piece. The design approach, which reinterprets vintage elements, is truly fresh. The pants feature playful touches throughout, such as large flap pockets with palm tree embroidery. The brand's credibility is also high among professionals, as evidenced by its selection for the uniforms at "EXCELSIOR," a top Milanese select shop.

In addition to the popular pants, the lineup includes a wide array of items not typically carried, such as floral and gingham check sets, and parachute shorts. Exclusive shorts are also featured. This emerging brand, with its urban yet subtly military vibe, is definitely worth checking out.
