A Portion of Profits Donated to Cool Earth, an Environmental Protection Group
These mini cars are from Schuco, a long-established German manufacturer of models and toys founded in 1921. In Europe, they are recognized as cherished childhood mementos, passed down through generations. The models being released are limited editions of two designs, hand-painted and based on the "silver arrow" model from the 1930s. As collectible models replicating the style of the originals, 1,000 units of each will be sold worldwide, with 150 units of each available in Japan.
The body of the iconic red model is printed with Vivienne Westwood's signature motifs: the Satyr (a mythical creature), skull and crossbones, orb, and the Anglomania logo of an arm and sword.
The model with a predominantly white body draws design inspiration from Vivienne Westwood's environmental protection slogans such as "keep Gaia Cool" and "+5 ℃."
Each model comes with a certificate of authenticity, tools such as a spanner, hammer, handle, car jack, and car lifter, and an instruction manual, all presented in a special package box. Furthermore, a sticker with a serial number indicating the limited production quantity is affixed to the underside of the vehicle, enhancing its value as a collectible item.
A percentage of the profits generated by Vivienne Westwood and Schuco from these limited edition mini cars will be donated to Cool Earth, an environmental protection organization that Vivienne Westwood has long supported.
