Hankyu MEN'S TOKYO's "Jet Setter Style" Proposal for Summer Resorts



In May, Hankyu MEN'S TOKYO presents a curated selection of high-quality, adult resort styles for "jet setters," a concept introduced since its opening last year. Events will feature Ermenegildo Zegna, known for silk often called "summer cashmere," Fendi,Maserati's collaboration resort style, and Fred's bracelets, perfect for the upcoming season, all sequentially held to showcase playful and luxurious ensembles.

Silk is the star of Ermenegildo Zegna's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Silk fabric, also known as "summer cashmere," is characterized by its beautiful luster, feel, and lightness, directly contributing to its comfort.
Buyer Seijiro Hoshika explains, "We propose a relaxed yet sophisticated luxury resort style for jet setters, incorporating lavish silk items, embodying the world of Ermenegildo Zegna. This event, themed around silk, will express its history, such as the Silk Road, and its elegant material qualities through dynamic visuals."

Display of Collaboration Car and Sale of Limited Travel Kits
May 16 (Wed) - 22 (Tue): Fendi x Maserati

To commemorate the announcement of the "Maserati GranCabrio Fendi Special Edition," a collaborative car by leading Italian brands Fendi and Maserati, special items from the iconic "SELLERIA" series, crafted with Fendi's artisanal techniques, will be released with double-name tags celebrating the Maserati collaboration. "We envisioned this limited travel kit for scenes where one drives to a resort destination with a luxurious leather bag in hand, imagining a jet-setter's vacation," says Buyer Hoshika.
A road movie showcasing Fendi artisans touring factories and boutiques by the collaboration car will also be screened at the event venue.

Rider's Jacket Made from Deerskin with a Tumbled Finish
The "SELLERIA" series, born from traditional saddlery techniques passed down since Fendi's founding in 1925, uses Cuoio Roma, the finest cowhide, tanned over time through a special drumming process. It is characterized by the distinctive hand-stitching created by skilled artisans.
The leather jacket on the left is also from the SELLERIA series, symbolizing the saddlery craftsmanship (hand-stitching) at Fendi's roots. It features deerskin with a tumbled finish for the outer leather and Italian linen for the lining. A collaboration silver plate with Maserati gleams prominently.

Fred, a jeweler with its flagship store on Place Vendôme in Paris, presents its iconic "FORCE10" collection, which best symbolizes the brand's concept of "unisex."
Buyer Tomoko Yamamoto states, "It's no exaggeration to say that Force 10 created the boom in men's bracelets. This pop-up boutique will offer the entire range of domestically available products, and we will sell a limited quantity of bracelets featuring a special yellow gold buckle with enamel processing on the back (all 6 colors, 3 of which are custom orders) and double-strand white cables. With combinations of buckles and cables, there are over 90 variations. We will also hold a similar fair at the Fred boutique in Hankyu Umeda Main Store."
Additionally, a talk show with Yoichiro Maeda, editor-in-chief of "LEON" magazine, will be held on Saturday, May 26th, starting at 3 PM.
