Striving for Global Manufacturing Excellence

Selts, a bag manufacturer that handles not only its own brands like Briefing and WrapS but also imports such as Daniel & Bob. In their extensive work with numerous artisans, they encountered a question: the domestic perception that "imported goods are the best." Certainly, there are many high-quality brands overseas. However, couldn't Japan also produce items that rival global standards? FARO embodies a return to the fundamentals of manufacturing, aiming for high-quality leather goods for discerning gentlemen, without ostentatiously displaying technical prowess or relying solely on established knowledge.

Elegant Conduct for the Sophisticated Man

"What we want to propose is fashion," says Hagiwara, the public relations representative for Selts. Fashion is about grooming and presenting oneself well, encompassing not only outward appearance but also daily conduct.
For men who have achieved a certain status, carrying a bag might become less common when going out. They may also often be expected to pay the bill at meals with subordinates. In such situations, pulling out a wallet that is too thick and heavy, deforming a suit, or a worn-out, undignified wallet is not stylish grooming. Furthermore, others notice accessories like wallets more than we imagine. A mature man should effortlessly present a slim, elegant wallet that fits neatly into his suit pocket. This is FARO's concept of leather goods as fashion. Therefore, FARO insists on thinness, and furthermore, pays meticulous attention to materials, cutting, and stitching.

Organize Daily, Carry Only Essentials When Out

Slim wallets have the drawback of limiting the number of bills and cards they can hold. However, if this is an absolute non-negotiable, then FARO might not be the right choice. It is, after all, about leather goods as fashion. The expectation is that users will carry only what is necessary for the outing and navigate their day with sophistication. Even with FARO's card cases, only about 20 cards can be stored. However, with a mindset of constant review and organization, this is more than sufficient. Presenting a bulging card case in a business setting is far more embarrassing and inconvenient. FARO's products prompt us to reconsider what constitutes a man's grooming and stylish conduct.

ZIP-COIN Long Wallet

An elegant and refined long wallet constructed with minimal stitching. The number of compartments is intentionally reduced, with space for only six cards and two slip pockets. The zippered compartment is intended not for bulky coins, but for receipts one prefers not to show. Materials offered include two types of calfskin, cordovan, crocodile, and lizard.

Envelope Card Case

A card case designed for aesthetic beauty and finished to a slim profile, capable of holding approximately 20 cards. Constant review and organization when out can lead to greater work efficiency.
