Oak construction. Its robust and substantial build also suits it as a TV stand.

Philippe Malouin, a product designer who honed his craft under the globally acclaimed Tom Dixon before establishing his own studio, was awarded "Designer of the Year" by *Wallpaper* Magazine in 2019. His collaborations with major clients such as Ace Hotel, Nike, and Aesop have garnered significant attention for his creations. We would like to introduce a shelf he designed that masterfully blends uniqueness with practicality.

The "Offset Shelf Large," released in 2022 by the New Zealand furniture brand Resident, is a unique product that embodies the concept of being "Offset"—literally, out of its intended position.
The origin of this design stems from an accidental misalignment when he attempted to align the base and top of a product. This experience guided him toward the "design of offset."
The movable supports not only create visual interest but also contribute to its practicality, thanks to its robust and substantial construction. It serves as an ideal piece for displaying books and objets d'art, playing a crucial role in defining a space.
The manufacturer also offers a smaller size and a two-tier version. It's remarkable how the designer transforms a negative situation into a new creation.
