This year marks 88 years of leading Nordic design. Artek, the renowned interior brand, has launched the "Kori" lighting series, designed by the Stockholm-based studio TAF.

TAF, comprised of Gabriella Lenke and Mathias Sternbaum, is a Stockholm-based design studio known for its functional and expressive products. This marks their second collaboration with Artek.
The "Kori" lighting series, released this time, is a product that embodies the modernist spirit of "fusing form and function" for today. It is meticulously stripped of excess and composed of an efficient modular system. "Kori" means basket or hamper in Finnish. The central light source evokes this name while creating a harmony of direct and indirect light through its unique form.
It also considers the environment, with manufacturing taking place within a 200-kilometer radius in Italy. The basket-like central part is made from 100% recycled aluminum. The bulb socket is designed for longevity, allowing the use of energy-efficient bulbs.
The series comprises five products. Inspired by eggs, the colors are available in a matte white and a yolk-like orange. The light, reminiscent of sunbeams filtering through leaves, will create a captivating mood in your everyday life.
