New Designs Arrive for the "PIÑA" Collection

Jaime Hayon, a multifaceted artist and designer, captivates with his rare talent, producing novel creations that draw admirers worldwide. Manufacturers and brands across the globe eagerly seek his collaboration, including Italy's MAGIS. Now, the "PIÑA" collection, launched two years ago to global acclaim, welcomes a low chair and a rocking chair to its lineup.

Special Exhibition Featuring Hayon's Drawings and Tote Bag Launch

To realize the full potential of wire for this chair series, MAGIS developed a robotic system for weaving it. This innovation allowed them to translate Hayon's artistic vision into highly functional products. The collection was named "Piña" (Spanish for pineapple) due to the frame's resemblance to the fruit.

The new additions to the collection are a low chair, ideal for lounge spaces, and a playful rocking chair. Further expansion is planned, with releases such as footstools and low tables anticipated.

To commemorate the launch of the new "PIÑA" pieces, the MAGIS Tokyo showroom is currently hosting a special exhibition featuring Jaime Hayon's drawings. Tote bags printed with these drawings are also available for purchase.
