Wedgwood, the British royal warrant brand, is holding a limited-time collaboration at "LEXUS MEETS...", a brand experience facility by Lexus located in Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. The event runs until Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

Exclusive Wedgwood Sweets and Drinks Available

For 260 years, Wedgwood has been a British royal warrant lifestyle brand gracing dining tables worldwide. And Lexus consistently pursues experiences that offer "surprise and inspiration" beyond user imagination.

This collaboration brings together both entities that enrich life through craftsmanship. A collaborative event is currently underway at "LEXUS MEETS...", Lexus's brand experience facility.

In addition to an exhibition of works embodying Japanese aesthetics on a global standard, Wedgwood items are available for purchase.

Also on display is "WEDGWOOD by Hitomi Hosono" by ceramic artist Hitomi Hosono, who dialogues with clay. This collection was realized as Hosono, whose talent has been recognized by institutions like the British Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum in London, was selected for Wedgwood's "Artist in Residence" program.

Hosono sought to express unadorned, natural beauty. Her works offer a sense of healing from nature, something forgotten amidst the urban bustle, which modern people crave.

At "STEER AND RING," the boutique within LEXUS MEETS..., approximately 50 popular Wedgwood products are sold. Items such as teacups and saucers, and saucers, are available to beautifully enhance moments of relaxation.

And at the concept cafe "THE SPINDLE," special sweets and drinks are served using Wedgwood tableware.

The exclusive sweets are inspired by the WEDGWOOD by Hitomi Hosono collection. You can savor exquisite sweets that blend Japanese confectionery with tea.

On Sunday, November 17, 2019, a live recording of the J-Wave radio program "LEXUS STORY of \"CRAFTED\"" will be held. Hitomi Hosono will be the guest. Applications for the live recording can be made via the special J-Wave website until Friday, November 8.
