Christofle | Capturing the twist and dynamism of "ponpon" yarn in cutlery. A playful new collection.
Christofle
Expressing the fluid movement of decorative cords. Elegance for the table.
As the first signs of spring emerge, we receive news of a new collection from Christofle, the silver cutlery brand favored by royalty and nobility for centuries. The "POMPON" collection reimagines the "pompon" – a decorative flourish used in fashion and drapery – as cutlery, blending luxury with dynamism.

Christofle offers products designed for a variety of settings, from traditional table settings to diverse dining cultures, all centered around silver cutlery. With nearly 200 years of history and expertise, the brand's creations are not only practical but also exude exceptional grace.
The new "POMPON" collection, as its name suggests, is inspired by the pompon. It is based on the "Formann" collection, created in collaboration with Christian Lacroix between 1995 and 1997.
The handles are sculpted with trompe-l'oeil pompons, masterfully recreating the twisted, dynamic appearance of the yarn. This has resulted in a complete cutlery set comprising a table knife, table fork, table spoon, and coffee spoon.
This collection is available in both silver and gold plating. In Japan, sales are exclusively at the Christofle Aoyama flagship store.
