The NICOLLE CHAIR is Reissued

Originally created in France in 1933 as a new chair that met the standards of safety and comfort crucial in factories and workshops, the NICOLLE CHAIR has been reissued. The new chair and stool collection will be available from early July at The Conran Shop's Shinjuku Main Store, Marunouchi Store, and Osaka Store.

Available in three sizes to suit different needs

Both the chair and stool quickly gained recognition for their robust, ergonomic design. With their distinctive backrest shapes, they were affectionately nicknamed "SWAN NECK" or "WHALE TAIL" and widely adopted in industries such as machinery, chemicals, and textiles.

Over 80 years after its original release, the reissue model is manufactured by MIJL in France. While respecting the history of the Nicolle Chair by using the original molds, the new models fuse contemporary technology and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in high-quality chairs and stools.

The Conran Shop offers three sizes: the "45 SERIES," ideal for dining and everyday use; the "60 SERIES," perfectly sized for counters around 90cm high, such as kitchen or workbenches; and the "75 SERIES," with a commanding height suitable for bar counters around 100cm.
