Adorned with Art from the “War Between the Shapes” Series

BANG & OLUFSEN’s new collaboration partner is a filmmaker, screenwriter, artist, and musician of many talents: David Lynch.

The items born from this collaboration feature images and details selected from the “War Between the Shapes” series, works drawn in the 1970s, and the 2007 “Paris Suite” lithographs, applied to special speaker models.

This collaboration includes “Beoplay P9,” “Beosound Shape,” “Beoplay M5,” and “Beoplay P2.” Only the “Beoplay M5” and “Beoplay P2” will be released to the public.



The “Beoplay M5” offers BANG & OLUFSEN’s signature sound in various rooms with its high-quality audio and wireless connectivity. The “Beoplay P2” is a speaker with powerful sound and smart connect features controllable by tap and shake.

Both feature artwork from the “War Between the Shapes” series. David Lynch’s signature is laser-engraved on the top of the “Beoplay M5” and printed on the back of the “Beoplay P2,” highlighting their status as collaboration models.



Additionally, the music streaming system “Beoplay P9,” featuring artwork from the “Paris Suite” lithographs, is one of only five limited units. The “Beosound Shape” wireless speaker system, designed for wall installation and featuring artwork from the “War Between the Shapes” series, is a single limited unit. Both are on display for a limited time as part of a pop-up inspired by David Lynch’s films at the MoMA Design Store in SoHo, New York.
