Schick Launches "Star Wars" Tie-Up Campaign


Schick, the leader in wet shaving, has partnered with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," releasing in theaters on Friday, December 18, 2015. The tie-up campaign began on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, featuring a wide array of campaign products that include items shaped like familiar characters from the "Star Wars" series, commemorating the film's release.

Campaign Items Shaped Like Popular Characters



The tie-up campaign between "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and Schick, which started on November 4, offers high-quality items created exclusively for the campaign, such as holder hangers shaped like the mysterious new character Kylo Ren and the popular Stormtrooper.

The "Hydro 5 Holder Hanger Pack (with 5 replacement blades)" comes with a high-quality "Holder Hanger" of Kylo Ren or Stormtrooper, meticulously recreated in detail. With a suction cup, it can be attached to mirrors or tiles, promising to add enjoyment to your shaving routine.

Collectors and fans alike will want to gather the "Relief Holder Stands," available in six types. Purchasing any holder or replacement blade product from "Hydro 5," "Hydro 5 Power Select," "Quattro 5," or "Protector 3" will include one relief holder from the six designs: Kylo Ren, Stormtrooper, Flametrooper, BB-8, C-3PO, or R2-D2.

These items, which can be customized in their assembly, are perfect for displaying on a desk or in a collection case once all six are acquired.

Additionally, purchasing the disposable razors "Xtreme 3 Disposable" or "Xtreme 3 Premium" includes a two-way "Holder Stand" with the "STAR WARS" logo, which can be placed vertically or horizontally. These, too, are ideal for display alongside the character items.

Furthermore, a limited-edition design of "Shave Guard" will be available as "Medicated Shave Guard Shaving Foam Double Pack Star Wars Design Can." These should be collected as part of the series' world-building items, alongside the razors.

A TV Commercial Depicting "Inheritance to the Next Generation" Also Draws Attention



The TV commercial, airing from Saturday, November 7, coinciding with the campaign's launch, portrays the theme of "inheritance to the next generation" that flows through the "Star Wars" series, seen through the eyes of a father and son who are "Star Wars" fans. This CM is also expected to generate buzz.

The story within the CM depicts a son's growth, from a young child to a boy, and then to a young man, as he looks up to his father. As he grows, the child who was taught how to play with a lightsaber eventually learns shaving techniques from his father, shown as he comfortably shaves his beard.

In the latter half of the CM, the scene transitions to footage from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," building to a climax with its iconic sound. "Star Wars" and Schick's wet shaving are presented as symbolic elements connecting father and son, creating a work that conveys the loving bond between them.
