Focus on Products and Brands that Broaden the Worldview
"Journal Standard Furniture" proposes a taste-mix style that combines standard original items, interpreting vintage for the current era, with trendy domestic and international brands. At the Umeda store, which has been completely revamped with this renewal, you'll find a full lineup of original products, special corners that better convey the concept of selected brands, and pop-up shops that will change regularly. You can experience the world of Journal Standard Furniture more intimately, with original furniture, lighting, household goods, and groceries.
Selling "BROOKLYN" Collection from "KARPENTER"
The furniture manufacturer "KARPENTER" is a brand founded by Italian Roberto and Frenchman Hugo, who encountered Indonesian teak wood during Hugo's time as a buyer for an interior company. The furniture, characterized by Hugo's sophisticated design and the use of highly durable and aesthetically pleasing teak wood (100% FSC certified), has received high acclaim in various countries.
At each journal standard Furniture store, two items from KARPENTER's "BROOKLYN" collection are available as Japan exclusives. These items, which use various types of recycled wood and retain the natural texture of the material, enrich the "simple and free life" sought by nature-loving urban dwellers.
