ACTUS Holds First-Ever Vintage Furniture Auction at Shinjuku Store
ACTUS Shinjuku Store, which opened in 1985, has undergone two renovations and now celebrates its 30th anniversary. Throughout this year, the "ACTUS SHINJUKU 30TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT" is being held to commemorate the store's 30th anniversary. The first installment, "DANISH VINTAGE FESTA," is currently underway until Sunday, March 29th. On the final day, Sunday, March 29th, ACTUS will host its first-ever "Vintage Furniture Auction."

DANISH VINTAGE FESTA: Danish Furniture to be Cherished for Generations
The ongoing event, "DANISH VINTAGE FESTA," features an exhibition and sale of rare vintage furniture by Danish designers from the 1950s and 1960s. The lineup includes a scarce teak model of "The Chair" manufactured by Johannes Hansen, the maker of Hans J. Wegner's masterpiece, and a sofa from the 1940s by Finn Juhl, which rarely appears on the used market. This collection offers Nordic vintage furniture that enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike will want to see.
On the final day, the 29th (Sunday), prior to the "Vintage Furniture Auction," a talk session will be held with editor Yasuyoshi Yamada as a guest. He will explore the allure of Nordic vintage furniture from the perspective of a young editor.

The talk session with guest editor Yasuyoshi Yamada will feature ACTUS buyer Rei Noguchi, who will convey the charm of Nordic vintage furniture from the unique perspective of a young editor.

1. VINTAGE FURNITURE AUCTION
An auction sale of vintage furniture by Danish designers such as Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wegner, and Børge Mogensen will be held.
