New "8 (OTTO)" Sofa and "9 (NOVE)" Table Unveiled
The "8 (OTTO)" sofa and "9 (NOVE)" table, designed by Piero Lissoni and added to the contemporary collection after their debut at the Milan Salone last April, are finally being showcased in Japan. The Cassina ixc. Aoyama Flagship Store will also feature the "KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS" textile collection from Kvadrat.

Pursuing Balanced Proportions and Utmost Comfort
Piero Lissoni often uses palindromic words in the names of products he designs for Cassina, such as the "TOOT" sofa and "NAAN" table. The number "8" in Italian is "OTTO." The "8 (OTTO)" sofa is not only a palindrome but also embodies infinite perfection through the number "8" itself.
The modular "8 (OTTO)" sofa, offering a wide range of configurations, uses feathers in its seat, back cushions, and armrests, creating a soft, sinking sensation and supreme comfort.
Its minimalist, serene design, along with tailor-made pleats and invisible stitching, further enhances the sofa's silhouette, showcasing Cassina's signature craftsmanship throughout.

A Versatile Table Collection
The "9 (NOVE)" table collection was designed by Piero Lissoni as an accessory to the "8 (OTTO)" sofa. With bases primarily in black and white marble, customers can choose their tabletop specifications. These can be used as center or side tables, allowing for diverse combinations by mixing different heights and materials.
The marble base provides balance, supported by an anthracite column. The tabletop can be selected from matching marble or a tray-like finish in glossy lacquer (Brick Red/Coffee Black). Combining different heights and materials allows users to express their individuality and creates a sense of rhythm in the space.

Special Japanese Exhibition "Spring Tea Ceremony - Enjoying Japanese Tea with Flowers and Tableware" Held
Cassina ixc. Aoyama, Osaka, and Fukuoka stores will host "Spring Tea Ceremony - Enjoying Japanese Tea with Flowers and Tableware" from April 2nd (Thursday) to May 10th (Sunday).
This, the fourth special Japanese exhibition, will showcase tableware and tea sets for enjoying Japanese tea and hosting Japanese tea parties at home, under the theme of "Spring Tea Ceremony."
