Focus on MAGIS's New Stools This Autumn



MAGIS, an Italian brand, consistently proposes products that are close to users, employing cutting-edge technology and collaborating with popular designers from around the world. It was recently announced that they held an exhibition titled "Material and Inspiration" featuring the renowned Bouroullec brothers during Tokyo Design Week, which garnered significant attention. This autumn, the brand is set to release a diverse range of new items. Among them, we will focus on three distinct stools.

MAGIS 2



Tibu
A bar stool designed by the popular Scandinavian designers, Anderssen & Voll. The seat and footrest appear to be connected by a single curve, and the seat height is adjustable via gas lift. Despite its appearance, the actual seating comfort is surprisingly soft. It is also available with a fabric cover. Comes in 8 colors.
Price: ¥81,000 (without cover), ¥87,000 (with cover) (excluding tax)



MAGIS 3



Tuffy
A new addition to Konstantin Grcic's popular "The Wild Bunch" series for Magis. It features a seat that rotates and adjusts height with a single finger, and a backrest in the same color as the connecting mechanism between the legs and the seat. The resin backrest is not visually obstructive, allowing for an open view of the space. The seat is made of beech wood, while the backrest and mechanism are polypropylene.
Price: ¥55,000 (excluding tax)



MAGIS 4



Cyborg wood
The latest work in the "Cyborg" project by the "maverick" Marcel Wanders, with a concept of combining artificial and natural materials. The seat and legs are molded polycarbonate with a hard sheen, while the backrest incorporates ash wood and beech plywood. The beauty of the wooden parts is a testament to the craftsmanship of furniture artisans. Available with two types of backrests, each in two colors.
Price: STICK ¥69,000, PLY ¥80,000 (excluding tax)
