Villas Catering to New Needs Such as Multi-Generational Stays and Long-Term Visits

"The Prince Villa Karuizawa" is the fifth "The Prince" brand hotel in Japan. This accommodation facility merges the "private villa functions" unique to the resort town of Karuizawa with "hotel services," providing exceptional hospitality and service in both its physical aspects and its offerings.

IDC Otsuka Furniture handled the interior design for all 20 villas, which are generously spaced within the property and surrounded by lush greenery, allowing guests to enjoy "Karuizawa time." These include 10 single-story terrace villas, 5 two-story maisonette villas, and 5 two-story maisonette villas with hot springs. For two of these, a maisonette spa villa and a terrace villa, IDC Otsuka Furniture provided total production.

Furthermore, the restaurant and lobby lounge of the "Center House," an exclusive facility for villa guests, feature a variety of domestic and international interiors, including original furniture from IDC Otsuka Furniture and pieces from collaborations with renowned designers.

Supporting the Creation of Relaxing and Healing Spaces in the New Facility

IDC Otsuka Furniture also provided selected interiors for new facilities such as the food court in the "Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza," which reopened with an expanded scale on July 2nd; the newly established "Karuizawa Prince Hotel Guest Service Center Smile Concierge" at the south exit of Karuizawa Station, the gateway to Karuizawa; and the "Karuizawa 72 Golf East Course New Club House," which embodies ultimate quality. They are producing the interiors for Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa as it evolves to a new stage.
