Jean Prouvé's Masterpiece Chair "Fauteuil Direction" Reissued
When one thinks of furniture by the French architect Jean Prouvé, the first things that come to mind are the unimaginable price tags on the vintage market. In recent years, Swiss company Vitra has been reissuing many of his designs. Now, the "Fauteuil Direction," first released in 1951, has been reissued with custom color options available.

Nine Cover Colors Available
The "Fauteuil Direction" is a chair featuring high-resilience urethane foam. Looking at the rear legs, one can see they share the same shape as Prouvé's signatureStandard ChairThis is said to be the ultimate form for structural stability and a distillation of Prouvé's philosophy as an architect. Armrests are also included, allowing for relaxation akin to sinking into a sofa.
This product pairs perfectly with Prouvé's "Compas Direction" table, and the combination is sure to fit seamlessly into work environments like SOHO. Of course, it would also be a valuable addition to dining areas or restaurants, beyond just workspaces.
For this reissue, customers can choose from nine cover colors, five leg colors, and three types of solid wood for the armrests. It's a luxurious opportunity to combine the beloved form, which has endured for over half a century since Prouvé's design, with your own preferred colors. It is currently on display at hhstyle.com Aoyama Main Store.
