Campaign to Commemorate the Reissue, Starting October 1, 2020 (Thursday)

Designer Hans J. Wegner, who created 500 chairs in his lifetime, combined functionality with rare beauty. His timeless designs and organic forms continue to captivate many people today. The lounge chair "CH78," first released in 1954 and then known as the "Mama Bear," is now being reissued.

With legs that create a sense of relaxation and stability, solid wood armrests, and a light, enveloping backrest... the "CH78 Mama Bear Chair," released in 1954, combines excellent functionality with unique beauty and continues to be highly regarded today.

For this reissue, the legs and arms can be selected in oak or walnut, with various finishes, and upholstered in fabric or leather.

To commemorate the launch, the "CH78 Mama Bear Chair" will be sold for a limited time at a special price (¥330,000/excluding tax) in oak frame finishes with six selected upholstery options from Kvadrat's "Fiord Series."

The color palette, inspired by the rich natural hues found in Nordic landscapes, further enhances the timeless design and will complement modern living spaces.
