The "W" pop-up showcase by German luxury office furniture brand Wilkhahn is now open for a limited time in Harajuku, Tokyo. The event features an exhibition of archive collections created over the company's 111-year history and proposes new work styles through the styling of new products. The event runs until August 2, 2018.

A Legacy of 111 Years
Wilkhahn, a furniture brand founded in Germany, celebrates its 111th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the "W" pop-up showcase is being held in Harajuku, Tokyo. The event conveys Wilkhahn's past, present, and future through a lens of challenging innovation.
"Work," "Wellness," "Well-being," and, of course, "Wilkhahn." Countless words related to the office begin with the letter "W." The theme of this showcase, named "W," is "a showcase packed with everything related to the office."
The venue is divided into two floors. The first floor displays epoch-making archive collections that have redefined office furniture over Wilkhahn's 111-year history.
The second floor presents the latest work styles through styling that incorporates new products to be released in Japan from this summer onwards: "AT," "Aula," and "mAx Light."
Additionally, a large-scale artwork by illustrator Sho ANZAI adorns the walls, and coffee made with freshly roasted beans from Endo Coffee, located in Adachi, Tokyo, is served.
In today's world, where the importance of how we work is increasingly recognized, Wilkhahn offers new proposals through both hardware and software via its office furniture. "W" is a showcase where one can discover the 111-year history of Wilkhahn's innovation and the future of work styles.
