Furniture brand Ritzwell will release its new sideboard, "JABARA," on Friday, June 15th. This item, which has garnered the prestigious German international design award "Red Dot Design Award" and was exhibited at Milan Salone in April, is set to become Ritzwell's new signature piece.

A satisfying weight, the feel of wood, and delicate linear beauty to delight the eye
The "JABARA" sideboard, which incorporates Japan's traditional accordion door (JABARA-DO) as a sliding door, is finally being released after three years of development.
Prior to its sales launch, it received the "Red Dot Design Award," one of the world's largest design awards, on Monday, April 9th. "JABARA" will also be exhibited at the Red Dot Museum. Furthermore, it was showcased at Milan Salone, which ran until Sunday, April 22nd.
The design was conceived by Shinsaku Miyamoto, Ritzwell's Creative Director and Designer. Japanese aesthetics, such as the reed screens found in summer townhouses and the linear beauty reminiscent of Kyoto's Arashiyama bamboo grove, have been incorporated into the minimalist design.
Each piece of solid wood is meticulously cut into thin strips, and the resulting textured surface, with its subtle roundness, is further refined by the artisan's skill and sensibility. The interplay with the combined texture of leather creates a dreamlike interplay of light and shadow, imbuing the entire product with a warm, profound character.
Timeless and minimalist in form, yet exuding warmth and presenting a dignified presence, the "JABARA" appeals to the senses. The tactile sensation of the wood under one's fingertips, the satisfying weight as the accordion door slides, and even the gentle friction sound of wood against wood evoke a comforting sense of nostalgia.
