Collaboration with Piero Lissoni, Naoto Fukasawa, and others
Since its founding in Milan in 1966, B&B Italia has led the furniture design world with its high design standards and quality. The brand continues to communicate Italian culture and its style through its furniture.
The newly released collection features items created in collaboration with designers such as Piero Lissoni and Naoto Fukasawa.
Lissoni designed "SAKé" and "FORMICHE." The name "SAKé" was inspired by a meeting between B&B Italia founder Piero Busnelli and Lissoni, where they bonded over drinks of Japanese sake.
Designed with simple, refined aesthetics and a wide range of sizes, they integrate seamlessly into any living space. A unique feature within the B&B Italia collection is the option to choose a sofa bed.
"FORMICHE" is a table with a light and simple appearance, created with the same theme as the "SAKé" sofa, featuring a slender structure. Its versatility is enhanced by a variety of top materials, shapes, and heights, allowing for personalized customization.
The tabletops are available in materials such as stoneware, highly transparent museum glass, brushed light oak, and titanium-coated metal.
"HARBOR," designed by Naoto Fukasawa, is an easy chair developed with ergonomics in mind, offering two types: a high-back version with a headrest for enhanced relaxation, and a low-back version.
Both feature a rotating base and a zipper for cover replacement at the center back, similar to Fukasawa's Hapilio series. Covers can be selected in fabric or leather. Additionally, the ottoman can function as a table when a dedicated tray is placed on it.
Other designers participating in this collection include Antonio Citterio, Monica Armani, and Mario Bellini. The products showcase a sophisticated structure that emphasizes material textures, creating a stylish overall impression.
