CARL HANSEN & SON

A Perfectionist's Chair, Showcasing Uncompromising Craftsmanship

Fritz Hansen, known for projecting his relentless craftsmanship into his designs due to his background as a furniture craftsman, presented the "Signature Chair FH429" in 1954. This chair, his final work, has been revived by Denmark's CARL HANSEN & SON. Nestling into its form, defined by gentle curves and organic arms, a sense of relief envelops the body, allowing one to experience the design of a perfectionist who prioritized comfort and elegance. The legs and arms are crafted from solid oak or walnut. The upholstery can also be chosen from leather or fabric, adding to its appeal.
