MARUNI x ALESSI Presents "LIVING HOUSE"
Maruni Tokyo, the Tokyo showroom of Maruni Wood Industry located in Higashi- Nihonbashi, Tokyo, has been refreshed and reopened on October 23 (Friday) as a directly managed store where products can be purchased, in addition to its showroom function. To commemorate the opening, they will present realistic living scenes in collaboration with the Italian houseware brand "ALESSI."

What is a Continuously Evolving Living Space?
The event "LIVING HOUSE" by Maruni Wood Industry and Alessi features Maruni Wood Industry furniture and Alessi housewares, curated by interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara.
Incorporating various items related to daily life, it proposes "LIVING HOUSE," a living space that breathes with its inhabitants and continues to evolve.

POP-UP CAFE supported by OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS
A pop-up cafe has opened on the first floor, in collaboration with specialty coffee store "OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS" (www.obscura-coffee.com). Within the styled space, guests can enjoy a limited-time Maruni special blend using Alessi's equipment and tableware, while seated at Maruni Wood Industry chairs and tables. Obscura Coffee Roasters' original blend beans will also be available for purchase.
ALESSI 2015 New Collection and “CHA” Presentation by NFD
Prototypes from Alessi's 2015 Autumn/Winter new collection will also be on display. In one corner of the venue, the new "CHA" series will be presented with an exhibition design supervised by Naoto Fukasawa.
MARUNI WORKSHOP
On October 31 (Saturday), a workshop will be held on the first floor of the Maruni Tokyo showroom, where participants can experience making coasters with Maruni craftsmen, using the four types of wood featured in the "MARUNI COLLECTION." Simultaneously, a "Virtual Factory Tour" will offer a real-time look at the factory that supports their craftsmanship.
