Glass Products Showcasing the Appeal of Italian Modern Furniture
Its predecessor was the long-established glass manufacturer "Glas Italia," dating back to the early 20th century. The company's products, nurtured by advanced glass processing technology and the stimulating environment of Lombardy, a hub of Italian design, have earned high acclaim. In recent years, they have collaborated with world-renowned designers, sharing creative ideas and inspiration to bring them to fruition. Their sophisticated designs and high quality are suitable for any occasion, whether for home, office, or contract use.
The "Gli Specchi di Dioniso" above, released in 2008, is one of six types of wall mirrors. Its frames, made of laminated colored glass in various shapes and sizes, are striking. The special processing technology developed by Glas Italia enables a rich variety of glass color options. In collaboration with Ettore Sottsass, these wall mirrors possess a unique and expressive character.
The "Hub" low table on the upper left, designed by Piero Lissoni, is a side table where a high-transparency glass cylinder supports the 12mm thick glass top and legs. The color of the top and base can be selected.
On the upper right is "Vasi," also designed by Piero Lissoni. This vase, made of high-transparency glass, features a delicate construction where the edges are mitered at 45 degrees and bonded with silicone.
With its beautiful contrast between glass and other materials, Glas Italia leads a new wave in Italian modern furniture. The designs stand out in sophisticated interior spaces.
