"LE KLINT Innovation 2015" featuring the new "CACHÉ" series, debuting in Japan
yamagiwa tokyo presents "LE KLINT Innovation 2015," showcasing new works from the Danish handcrafted lighting brand LE KLINT. The event, starting Thursday, June 18th, will feature the new "CACHÉ" series, new additions to the highly acclaimed "SWIRL" series, and variations of past masterpieces.

New "CACHÉ" Series and More Exhibited for the First Time in Japan
The new "CACHÉ" series from LE KLINT features designer Aurélien Barbry. After graduating from the École Camondo in Paris, Barbry worked with architect Jean Nouvel on various design projects, and has also achieved success with established brands such as Georg Jensen and COR.
The new "CACHÉ" series, meaning "hide-and-seek" in French, comprises lamps with bell-shaped shades. While the exterior retains a traditional form, as the series name suggests, it features a unique design that conceals the light source, emitting a warm glow imbued with the brand's heritage. The series will be released in two types: "CACHÉ Pendant" and "CACHÉ Floor Lamp," both available in black and gray.
New additions have also been made to the "SWIRL" series, designed by Oivind Slaatto. This series, meaning "swirl," possesses a unique form inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, exemplified by the spiral of a snail's shell.
The design offers a beautiful gradation of transmitted and scattered light, with the light source ingeniously hidden from view from any angle. The stylish new ceiling light features a dual light source, suitable for home use, and will be available in three sizes: S, M, and L.

Interior Stylist Fumiko Sakuma Presents a Vision of the LE KLINT World
The staging for "LE KLINT Innovation 2015" is curated by interior stylist Fumiko Sakuma. The exhibition, which proposes living spaces enhanced by LE KLINT lighting, showcases new pieces from the "CACHÉ" and "SWIRL" series alongside variations of past masterpieces. The venue, enveloped in warm light and gentle shadows, allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the LE KLINT aesthetic.
The tradition of handcrafted artistry, cultivated by LE KLINT over its 72-year history, is reflected in the warm light and gentle shadows of its new creations. The beautiful forms, meticulously folded by hand from a single sheet of plastic, continue to captivate fans worldwide as objects of art that illuminate and enrich the soul.
