From "MY FIRST BE@RBRICK B@BY," a concept centered on "a child's first toy," comes a first-ever collaboration. The inaugural piece is inspired by the works of the Jackson Pollock Studio.

"MY FIRST BE@RBRICK B@BY" was designed by Chiaki, who is active in various fields including singing, voice acting, and design, with the image of "her own child's first toy." This model, featuring a transparent body with internal beads that rattle when shaken, was released in 2007 and immediately became a huge hit. It has since evolved into a long-running series representing BE@RBRICK, with numerous color variations being produced.

This time, the "MY FIRST BE@RBRICK B@BY Jackson Pollock Studio Ver.," appearing as the first collaboration, is inspired by the works from the "Jackson Pollock Studio," the studio of the abstract expressionist painter who represents post-war America.

Jackson Pollock developed and expanded unpredictable expressions through techniques such as "dripping" and "pouring," where he would directly drip paint onto a canvas laid on the floor using wrist snaps. While MEDICOM TOY has produced numerous BE@RBRICKs and apparel using works from the Jackson Pollock Studio, this "MY FIRST BE@RBRICK B@BY Jackson Pollock Studio Ver." successfully achieves a remarkable sense of unity by also adjusting the color of the beads inside the body.

The fusion of action painting, a motif that harmonizes well with the concept of a child's first toy, is a fitting addition for the artful autumn season.
