"2G," a new style of studio that fuses art toys, a concept shop, and a gallery. MEDICOM TOY, Motofumi "Poggy" Kōki, and NANZUKA opened in 2019 as a space to create new culture and values through their unique perspectives and synergistic communications (2G OSAKA opened in 2020). It consistently garners intense attention from around the world. Here, we introduce new MEDICOM TOY items scheduled for release in May at the two stores: 2G TOKYO in Shibuya, Tokyo, and 2G OSAKA in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
This month, as the latest installment in the project with the British Museum in London, the "Tomb-Painting of Nebamun," a motif from a polychrome mural dating to around 1350 BCE, appears in a 1000% size. Additionally, BE@RBRICKs inspired by the works of Impressionist painter Edgar Degas, known for his extensive collection at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, will be released in 100% & 400% and 1000% sizes. Also appearing are the "CERAMICK ANDY WARHOL Bust 60s ASH GOLD" and "CERAMICK ANDY WARHOL Bust 80s ASH GOLD," scheduled for release in September.
As these are limited quantity items, sales will end once stock is depleted. Details on sales methods will be announced sequentially on the MEDICOM TOY official blog, social media, and other channels.

The British Museum BE@RBRICK "Tomb-Painting of Nebamun" 1000%
The "Tomb-Painting of Nebamun," a motif from a fragment of a polychrome mural depicting the tomb of the priest Nebamun from around 1350 BCE—a famous ancient Egyptian artifact housed in the British Museum in London—is now scaled up to 1000%. The BE@RBRICK itself features a matte finish, recreating the atmosphere of the vividly colored mural.
